"It's a fantastic bike, even going uphill. Downhill, it handles like a road bike. It's a huge step forward." -BOB JUNGLES, Luxembourgish champion

For years, time trial bikes have had very similar attributes—skinny, deep airfoils, sketchy handling, subpar braking, and heavy frames. For the "flat and fast" courses of yesteryear, these qualities may have been acceptable, but with today's technically demanding courses, TT bikes needed a change.

And with this in mind, we've pushed UCI regulations to their limits adding disc brakes, dropping weight, and dialing in the fit for the new Shiv TT. Is it the most adjustable TT bike out there? Yeah, but don't think it gave anything up to aerodynamics. Here's to another decade of gold medals. The S-Works Shiv TT Disc Module is the perfect canvas to start constructing your TT dream rig.

  • As time-trial courses have become more technical and demanding, it's important to capitalise on years of R&D and pro rider feedback to create the fastest time trial bike—for all courses. From technical inner-city prologues, to rolling courses with steep grades, it's not just about making the fastest bike for a straight line. With this in mind we've cut the weight and greatly increased the handling characteristics of the Shiv TT with an all-new silhouette.

  • Fit was also one of the biggest design pillars of the new Shiv TT. With years of Retül data, and professional rider data, we've completely re-done the geometry and front-end of the bike. The updated spacers, bridge, and armrests lock in fit, improving stability and confidence, while the one-piece bar and stem simplifies and lightens the weight of the front-end, balancing the overall feel.

  • Disc brakes are now a necessity in TTs with variable weather, tight corners, and rough surfaces. Not only do they let you late-brake into corners and shift on the bars, but they also create a more stable chassis in corners and when accelerating. And don't worry, they don't lend themselves to any additional drag.

A silhouette unlike any other. Let the other guys make the biggest airfoil that regulations allow. Specialized tried the unexpected—in throwing conventional thinking out the window. With shapes that fuse aero, weight, and stiffness from our FreeFoil Shape Library, we’ve designed the fastest bike possible—not one that just checks boxes.

A seat tube that challenges convention. The Roval 321 is the fastest disc wheel in the world, and it doesn't need to draft the seat tube. Instead, the seat tube and wheel blaze their own sero paths, allowing us to shave weight and improve ride quality without increasing drag. It also creates the slickest 1x setup in the stable.

Light and stable for your fastest fit. Specialized shaved off almost 200 grams (compared to the previous generation Shiv TT) from the cockpit with a one-piece bar and stem design and a very efficient use of hardware. But they did it in a way that maintains a stable and adjustable platform to ensure you can achieve your fit and hit your apex in performance.

Seatstays at the limit. The dropped seatstays slash drag. That's why they're at the UCI limit and nearly invisible to airflow. Designed for high power in the saddle and quick accelerations out of it, these stays also improve the bike's balance, so all that speed can be confidently handled.

Disc brakes make this bike faster. With the fork crown and seatstays unencumbered by brake calipers, they're sculpted to shave significant drag. And when you add thru-axles for improved stiffness and balance, you get the perfect marriage of speed and control.

A down tube seven years in the making. Specialized has been testing in their very own wind tunnel since 2012. They know a down tube matters more for stiffness/weight than aero. So, they made sure the down tube greatly increased power transfer and shed weight, while also hiding it behind the front wheel to ensure the Shiv TT is still the fastest bike in the world.

Compliant points of contact. Specialized learned that a seatpost any narrower than their own Venge post is harsh and heavy, and it's not any more aero with a rider in the saddle. So instead of reinventing the wheel, every Shiv TT uses a proven Venge seatpost - lighter, more compliant, and just as fast as the skinniest post the UCI will allow.
