Let's get something clear, the Stumpjumper EVO Alloy isn't a "normal" trail bike. It's built to get gnarly, plain and simple. Featuring the same all-new design as its carbon brethren—including an adjustable head tube angle, 150mm of performance tuned travel, the adaptability of S-Sizing, and SWAT Door integration—in a lightweight yet tough M5 Alloy chassis, you're going to be able to bomb down trails that you thought you couldn't touch without a full-blown DH chassis.

Spec’d with a no-fuss SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, bomber 30mm-wide alloy wheels, and plush Fox FLOAT Performance suspension, there’s no question the Stumpjumper EVO Comp Alloy is dressed to shred.

  • All the travel in the world is useless without the proper shock tuning and kinematics 📹. For the new Stumpjumper EVO design, prioritised is the kinematic performance. Applying lessons learned while developing the Enduro, then following that with more than 1,000 hours of field and suspension lab development, Specialized not only improved the pedaling performance of the Stumpjumper, but made it more capable, agile, and lively. We increased anti-squat, so the suspension better resists pedal bob, and we further improved bump performance on square-edge hits. Bottom line? This thing shreds trails, not legs.

  • The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper EVO is our Specialized's most progressive yet. Long, low, slack, short offset fork, steeper seat tube angle – these are requirements for modern progressive riding. But not everyone jibs the same way, which is why the geo on the new Stumpjumper EVO is fully adjustable with six different settings. You can adjust the BB height by 10mm, you can adjust your head angle by two-degrees, and you can make these adjustments independently of each other. More on this adjustability detailed below.

  • Sport A Mullet! An aftermarket MulletLink is available, allowing you to run a 27.5” rear wheel to liven up responsiveness and give yourself more freedom to gain air time. All while, retaining the geometry and suspension characteristics that enable the EVO to ride the way it’s meant to.

  • Rider-First Engineered frames use a size-specific approach to ride characteristics that ensures benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame or rider size. Whether you’re a jump-happy grom riding an S1, or a DH-fiend giant in need of the lengthy S6, you’ll experience the same ride traits – rail-sharp cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness – at the lightest-possible weight.

  • Specialized introduced the SWAT door on the Stumpjumper in 2016, adding room in your frame for those “oh, yeah nah” necessities like pumps and spare tubes, and immediately rendering jersey pockets redundant.

*Barring angle values marked by their degree symbol (°), all chart measurements above are listed in millimetres (mm). Furthermore, the geometry readings in the chart are indicative of when using the middle headset cup (steep and slack cups included with bike), chainstay flipchip in High mode and 29" wheels...

...The Stumpjumper EVO offers six distinct geometry settings to hone its performance for any style, any terrain. The head angle can be adjusted between 63- and 65.5-degrees. Bottom bracket height can be fine-tuned up or down by 7mm. Not to mention the scope of the mullet setup option. This EVO’s seamlessly integrated adjustability makes it the most adaptable trail bike ever. Click here to view the Stumpy Evo 'Geometry Finder.'

Detailed below are the 2022 Stumpjumper EVO Alloy Comp's sizes, with their respective rider's height ranges to which they suit.

S1 - 150cm to 160cm (4'11" to 5'3")

S2 - 157cm to 173cm (5'2" to 5'8")

S3 - 165cm to 180cm (5'5" to 5'11")

S4 - 173cm to 188cm (5'8" to 6'2")

S5 - 178cm to 193cm (5'10" to 6'4")

S6 - 188cm to 203cm (6'2" to 6'8")

Please note, while you may fit snuggly (according to the size guide) into one particular size, we advise you size DOWN for more manoeuvrability in tight corners or playfulness in flicking the bike in the air. Conversely, size UP for more stability through rough fast rock gardens, aggressive root sections, etc. Our staff will happily engage you in this wider sizing conversation to have you riding the right size bike for your height and riding style.
