Introducing the Kenevo SL Comp Carbon, an amalgamation of all gradients. Shuttle runs with added zeal, climbs without the pinch, gondola queues left in your dust. Whether you're weaving a golden thread down the Redwoods, Maraetai's pine or Tākaka Hill, there's always a 52t-worthy ascent to greet you at the end of your downhill euphoria. The Kenevo SL shares the same vein of Enduro kinematics, handling prowess and capability as its non-electric predecessor, but with 240 watts of power to help flatten out the climb. You'll maintain fresh legs and avoid fogged sunnies, ready for your next drop in. More time cutting shapes downhill and less time pushing squares uphill, all the more reason to be beaming from ear-to-ear!

Efficient, reliable, smooth, featherweight power. The Specialized Kenevo SL takes full advantage of the company's SL system, full '11m FACT' carbon-fibre frame and rear triangle combine to have the bike sitting below 20kgs (18.8kgs for the S-Works model). That's only 4kgs heavier than the S-Works Enduro, but more notably 5.5kgs lighter than the full-powered Kenevo Expert. The SL 1.1 motor weighs a scant 1.95kgs, produces 35 newton-metres of torque, produces up to 240 watts of power and will give you power assistance up to 32km/h. Paired to a 320 watt-hour internal battery that lies encased within the downtube.

It's worth coming at these numbers from an analogue bike point-of-view, rather than seeing them as watered down full-powered Levo or Kenevo numbers. 'E' for the case of argument ought to stand for efficiency. Drawing far less juice from the battery, the Kenevo SL will match the range of the full-powered Kenevo with its 700Wh battery. That's without the additional 'Range Extender' battery, that can be slotted into the bottle cage for an over and above 50% range.

The SL amplifies your pedalling power by two times, enough to feel as though a howling low-pressure system is chasing you from behind. All these weight considerations and reductions come into their own when riding technical and tight sections. Gearing comes in the way of SRAM's GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, with a 10-52 tooth, dinner-plate-sized cassette having you covered in any landscape. Braking, by SRAM's Code R, four-piston hydraulic disc brakes paired with enormous 200mm rotors. There's 170mm of plush, highly-adjustable suspension front and rear from Fox's Float X Performance shock and Fox Float 36 Rhythm fork. Enduro-inspired suspension carries suppleness on small bumps, opens up to a full compressions with big hits to remain attentive and dynamic at every degree of the travel spectrum. In the same breath, the pedalling platform is remarkably responsive, ensuring your pedalling power is meet with efficient acceleration, irrespective of the power assistance mode.

With a balanced cockpit, wide 800mm handlebars, low bottom bracket height, slack head tube angle and reduced fork offset, the Kenevo SL oozes a confidence-inspiring ride. 29 inch, alloy, thru-axle wheels are spec'd front and rear. Paired with a short wheelbase, they remain nimble and agile while rolling over jagged rock or root heavy sections with ease. The '11m FACT' carbon frame (exact same grade of carbon-fibre as the premium S-Works model) holds a lifetime warranty to the original owner once registered (code of practice during our sale process).

The new-generation Mastermind Turbo Connect Unit (TCU) acts as the bike's brain to which all information flows. The display fields can be customised to your liking via the Mission Control App. There are 30 metrics available, offering every piece of real-time data you could ever want. Exact battery level percentage aside, the all-new, bar-mounted 'MicroTune' function allows you to adjust power delivery in 10% increments, to have you sitting at just the right amount of assistance.

Adjustable Geometry:

Sharing a similar geometry to that of the Enduro, the Kenevo SL is highly adjustable. With three head angle settings (steep 64.7°, neural 63.5° & relaxed 62.5°) and two bottom bracket height settings (high & low (6mm difference)) to choose from, you're able to tailor the bike's handling to your style of riding or refine how you want the bike to behave. Detailed below are the 2022 Kenevo SL Comp Carbon's sizes, with their respective rider's height ranges to which they suit.

S2 - 157cm to 173cm (5'2" to 5'8")

S3 - 165cm to 180cm (5'5" to 5'11")

S4 - 173cm to 188cm (5'8" to 6'2")

S5 - 178cm to 193cm (5'10" to 6'4") 

Please note, while you may fit snuggly (according to the size guide) into one particular size, we advise you size DOWN for more manoeuvrability in tight corners or nimble playfulness in flicking the bike in the air.
